I've had to unfortunately cut ties with Mailchimp rather abruptly, which means the Ghost Post that would've gone out today did not.

The Ghost Post is still free to read today, though, as both posts on Patreon and Ko-fi have gone public. Going forward, I'll release the Ghost Post the same way I do everything else: up for supporters first (on the 1st of the month) and free to read later (the 8th of the month). If you enjoy the Ghost Post and want to get it earlier, please consider supporting me! If you can't or don't want to, no worries; you can still read it for free at a slight delay!

As the Patreon/Ko-fi posts are simply going public, I'm going to link to them here instead of re-writing it in a post; it's just super fiddly to do and I didn't mind so much when I was doing the same thing with Mailchimp in another tab, but now it's a big ask on my time when the day job is taking up most of it so I hope you understand me making it a little easier on myself!

And please, stand with writers of all media as we fight the powers that be trying to replace us with algorithmic aggregators. Writing is a deeply personal and human art form, and being told that computers can spit out the same thing we pour our hearts and souls, our trauma and our dreams, our beliefs and our experiences into, is a really soul-crushing experience for all of us. Art matters, in every medium, and artists deserve space and support to create.
